Our priority is to keep you as safe as possible and prior to re-opening the salon we have implemented a number of changes which we would like to make you aware of. During the time the salon has been closed we have completed (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by the guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd the UK trade body for our industry. We have since made a number of changes in the way we operate that you will note when you next visit.
To make sure that your appointment is designated to you and to avoid last minute walk-in appointments deposits of 20% will be required on booking, we have revised our cancellation notice to 36hours . At the time of booking you will receive confirmation of the appointment with the relevant information regarding standard cancellation and that due to COVID-19 or any other illness. Appointment cancellations due to illness at any time will not lose any money your appointments will be rescheduled when you are back to your normal self but we would ask that you wait a minimum of 15 days before rescheduling.
In the event that one of our staff feels ill or has any symptoms of COVID-19 they will self isolate immediately. If a client reports symptoms of COVID-19 immediately the salon will close to do a full deep clean and clients who had appointments will be contact traced for relevant information. This may mean that we have to cancel your appointment at short notice. We appreciate this may be inconvenient to you but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled you will be rebooked.
If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of COVID-19 please advise us as soon as possible Do not come to the salon. Your appointments will be rescheduled and you will not loose your deposit or charged for appointments missed.
For clients that have pre medical conditions or that are in the vulnerable category we have designated a specific day which will be a Monday .Those clients can contact us and we will amend their booking preference to enable booking online directly for a Monday.
For your safety and to maintain social distancing, we ask that you attend your appointment as close to the appointment time as possible .Please do not turn up early as this may mean you will come into contact with other clients who are just leaving.
We have increased the cleaning of the salon, including making sure that common surfaces, toilet door handles etc are wiped clean with disinfectant products between clients.
All tools and equipment will be disinfected and sterilised inline with manufacturers guidelines. Wherever possible we will utilise environmentally friendly , single, use items during a treatment. Dispose of waste safely to avoid cross contamination to you.
On entry to the salon we would kindly request that face masks or face coverings are to be worn and throughout the duration of the treatment if appropriate.
Please do not be upset or surprised if we use personal protective equipment (PPE) during your visit and during your treatments. This may include face masks, face visor shields, protective sleeve guards and aprons where appropriate.
All items used such as salon towels and therapist uniforms will be laundered at 60 degree C.
We have carried out a full risk assessment on all our treatments and we are confident that we can continue to provide these safely.
We will try to make your treatments as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as much as possible. If you have any concerns about treatments or any of our salon policies please let us know and we will do our best to help you.
Please note that our treatments are for ladies only.
Your beauty treatment is reserved specifically for you. We therefore ask that you notify us 36 hours in advance if you wish to cancel. For online bookings a reminder for your appointment will be sent 36 hours prior giving you the option to cancel if required.
Late cancellations and no show appointments cost us precious time and money, therefore if we receive less than 36 hours notice of cancellation 50% of the treatment cost will be charged. Alternatively no shows will be asked for full payment in advanced prior to any further bookings.
